The KOA (Remote Gambling) Act will come into effect on January 1, 2021. Online casinos and bookmakers can now apply for licenses to offer online gambling for online casinos, slot online, online poker, etc. The first license will be issued by the Dutch Government in July 2021.

If you do this, you will not be able to play anywhere for 6 months, even at casinos and even Dutch casinos.
*Online bookmakers and casinos pay the government a gambling tax directly on their winnings.
*As a player, you can contact the gambling authorities in the event of a payment dispute. You can preset the amount of money that exceeds the game limit, reducing the chance of problems.
Improved anti-gambling policy
Bookmakers will pay to increase transparency in the number of Dutch gambling addicts after legalization in the Netherlands. According to a survey, 0.3% of casino players over the age of 16 are or are already addicted to gambling. It has almost 40,000 players.
