Bellefield Housing Inquiry
In addition to the inquiry into the stadium development, Everton were involved in another public inquiry. The other was regarding a planning application to build houses on the former training ground Bellefield. Please note that these are entirely separate inquiries and should not be confused with one another. KEIOC did not oppose this development however the outcome did have an effect on the funding for the proposed Kirkby scheme.
The Inquiry for the Bellefield application took place on November 26th at the Holiday Inn in Liverpool City Centre and was scheduled to last for 3 days.
The decision was made and the application to build houses on Bellefield was declined.
