Redevelopment Videos

Black Widow InternetKEIOC supporters, in conjunction with Black Widow Internet, have worked in partnership to bring Everton supporters an alternative vision of the future should Bill Kenwright's preferred plan to relocate the club to Kirkby fail to receive planning permission from the Secretary of State, Hazel Blears.

KEIOC completely agree with Everton CEO, Robert Elstone, when he states that in the absence of a billionaire benefactor the club must be facility led. We disagree that Kirkby offers this opportunity when the ability to generate increased matchday revenue will be hampered through a conglomeration of factors including: only balloting 40% of their identified fanbase, having 40% of this exclusive group, primarily season ticket holders, disagreeing with the proposal, having, due to the infrastructure of a small town, a poor transport plan which will see fans being forced to queue for hours before being crush loaded into trains and buses and restrictions placed on the use of the stadium by a Council that will have free or discounted use of the amenities available in the stadium. Everton, on no known basis, are predicting average attendance levels of 47,000 at this new stadium generating an extra £6m of revenue. KEIOC, using available quantitive data, predict the attendance is likely to be in the region of 38,000 with significantly lower returns.

The alternatives are a redevelopment of Goodison or a stadium in Everton on Scotland Rd. The challenges will be there, technical and financial, but they can be met through collaboration and cooperation. The alternative is to accept mediocrity that is on offer at Kirkby; does anyone truly believe that this stadium in Kirkby will enable Everton to, once again, compete with Manchester United, Arsenal, Chelsea, Tottenham Hotspur, Newcastle United or Aston Villa?

Making of

Black Widow Internet enjoyed working so much with KEIOC on the recent 3D animation of the redevelopment of Goodison Park and the development of a Scotland Road Everton Stadium that they’ve put together a compilation of all the hard work that went on behind the scenes.

KEIOC are proud of their association with this first class company.
