Parks, are we being taken for a ride?

For many Evertonians the apparent deferential attitude displayed by Liverpool City Council towards Liverpool Football Club and their demands surrounding the famous, covenant protected, Victorian park are nothing short of scandalous. Many see this accommodation by the council as clear proof of favouritism; others see one rule for Liverpool and another for Everton and yet others see the management team of Liverpool setting their targets and objectives and then implementing a professional strategy to achieve them whilst Everton prefer to simply wait for others to deliver what they require. None of the aforementioned scenarios can be proven of course, its mere conjecture, personal interpretation of information usually gleaned from the local press.
