21st Hillsborough Anniversary

Once again at 15:06 all fans of football will think of the 96 fans who simply went to a match and never returned.

Evertonians and Liverpudlians, divided by their colours yet united in their grief, will commemorate the 21st anniversary of a disaster which changed the lives of all in this city and the face of English football forever.

A fitting memorial service, led by former Liverpool player John Aldridge, is being held at Anfield during which there will be a respectful minute’s silence.
